1948-2025

Stillmen Wilcox, husband of late Theresa (Craig) Wilcox, passed November 21st after a long illness. He was surrounded by family. He leaves behind his children Craig (Stephanie), Jennifer, and Amy, his beloved grandchildren Gregor and Megan, and his brothers Fred, Richard (Nancy), and Gary. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

Stillmen worked for 30+ years at NBTel and then semi-retired while continuing his passion for carpentry by building homes. In retirement, he enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his grandkids, visiting with his close family and friends, boating around Lake Utopia, and working on a long list of projects. He loved to play cards, listening to old school country, and making plans. 

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Charlotte County hospital Dialysis Unit, his Palliative care support team, and the Extra-Mural staff. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
