View all postsNesta is my name. It’s not short for anything; it’s ancient Welsh and means “firstborn” – though, my parents had no idea when they gave it to me. They read it in a cowboy book called “Arizona Ames.” Worked out – I am their firstborn!
I was born in New Brunswick but dad was an F-18 test pilot so I grew up on Air Force bases all over Canada and the world. It feels good to come full circle, back home to Atlantic Canada to raise my family.
My youngest babe started kindergarten this year and my oldest middle school, so I spend my free time trekking them to extra-curriculars – when not working on house renos. So many house renos. The husband is a chef – very handy since I love food, books & digging in dirt but my real hobby is collecting hobbies. I’m a sucker for a good workshop. There’s always something new and exciting to learn.
You can find me on Twitter, Facebook, & Instagram.
