Randy James Weaver

1963-2026

The passing of Randy James Weaver, life partner of Marilyn Leslie, of   Blacks Harbour, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen on Thursday, February 19, 2026 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He was born on October 11, 1963 at Black Harbour to the late James and Mary (Thorne) Weaver. Randy worked for many years for Future Nets and as a Lobster Fisherman until his health forced him to retire. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards with his buddies, especially cribbage.

Randy is survived by his partner, Marilyn; her children: Sheldon and Amie; sisters: Carolyn Blanchard (Camile) of Blacks Harbour, Donna Coutts (Donnie) of St. George; Sandy Guimond (Aldei) of Richibucto and Tammy Burns (John) of Weymouth, NS; brother, Douglas Weaver (Josephine) of Weymouth, NS; special nephew and his little buddy, Krew; good friend, Giles Aucoin of Pennfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Randy was predeceased by brother, David Gass.

Randy’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital and the nurses and staff of the Extra Mural Program for their kindness and support as Randy battled cancer.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. As per Randy’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to Charlotte County Cancer would be greatly appreciated by the family.
