1959-2026

The death of Michael “Mike” George McBrien, of St. George, NB, occurred in his home on February 14, 2026.  He was 66.  Mike was born on October 13, 1959 in Moncton, NB.  Mike passed peacefully and unexpectedly during sleep.

Mike was the son of, and predeceased by, Ross and Lea McBrien; brother to Barry McBrien (deceased), Daniel “Danny” McBrien (deceased), Andrew McBrien, and Beth Tyrrell (nee McBrien).

Mike began his life in Moncton, NB and moved with his family to Toronto, ON in 1966, where he remained for much of his life. He returned to the Maritimes in or around 2002 and lived in the greater Saint John area, including St. Andrews, Little Lepreau, and St. George. Mike’s work life was focused on truck driving/deliveries, warehouse and fish-plant work.  Mike was unmarried and left no children. He lived a quiet, solitary life. His biggest loves were music, reading, animals/pets and natural environments.
