1992-2026

Cody Leavitt, 34, of St. George, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on November 1, 2026. Born on August 25, 1992, Cody was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. 

He is survived by his parents, Allison Leavitt and Carol Leavitt (Dewar) ; his sissy, Jessica (Devon); his big brother Matthew (Erica); and his nieces and nephews, Logan, Jaiden, Easton, Kailyn, Griffin, Blake, Ellis, Cole and Sam. He also leaves behind his companion, Keegan Meehan, and his best fur friend, his dog, Max.

A dedicated member of the St. George #12 Masonic Lodge F&AM, Cody lived a life full of passion. He was an avid outdoorsman who cherished the time he spent hunting with his father and held fond memories as a proud member of the Cadets. Music was a constant joy in his life, but his greatest devotion was always his family. Cody will be remembered forever for his kindness, his adventurous spirit, and the deep love he held for his nieces and nephews.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George with visitation on Thursday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm. The Masonic Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 5:30 pm prior to the evening visitation. The Funeral Service will take place from the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. In Cody’s memory, donations to Canadian Mental Health, Charlotte County Chapter or the St. George Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
