Meet Dr. Nick Ellingwood and Dr. Maggie Keyes, residents of the integrated family medicine and emergency medicine program at Saint John and Sussex.
This three-year innovative program allows family doctors to acquire the skills required to support their patients, whether they are experiencing daily health issues or a medical emergency.
The two residents were drawn to the program due to the opportunity to learn at home and serve communities they care about.
During their participation in the program, they strengthen their ties with patients and families, which helps shape the future of healthcare in New Brunswick.
