1947 – 2026

  Sandra Kathleen Beaumaster passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, May 19, 2026. 

Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Sandra later made her home in Canso, Nova Scotia. She was the daughter of the late Isabelle (Cameron) Sharkey and was predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Sharkey. 

She is survived by her sons, Blaine (Anne) Beaumaster of Conception Bay South, NL, and Brent Beaumaster of Vancouver, BC; her daughter, Tina Beaumaster of St. Andrews, NB; and the father of her children, Wayne Beaumaster of Bayside, NB. She also leaves behind her grandsons, Gregory (Jacklynn) Beaumaster of Dartmouth, NS, and Adam (Leah) Beaumaster of Conception Bay South, NL; cousins Rick Cameron and Carol Cameron; and half-sisters Dorothy and Gloria Chafe of Nova Scotia. 

Sandra’s door was always open to her many friends, 

The family would like to extend special thanks to the “Gals” from Able Home Care, as well as the nurses and staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital, Charlotte County Hospital, Extra-Mural Program, and Meals on Wheels for their care and compassion. 

As per Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no visitation or funeral service will be held. 

For those who wish, donations in Sandra’s memory may be made to the Charlotte County SPCA and would be appreciated by the family.
