Perry Everett Richardson

1929-2025

Perry Everett Richardson of Blacks Harbour, NB, formerly of Back Bay, passed away at the Fundy Nursing Home on October 22, 2025. Born on February 23, 1929 in St. Stephen NB, he was a son of the late Percy and Anna Richardson of Deer Island.

Perry was a loving husband to Lottie, step-father to Ricky Beek (Joan), grandfather to Robbie Barrio (Robin) and Christy Beek, great-grandfather to Alyssa, Aaron (Taylor), Alannah and Amira, chosen granddaughter, Corina Barrio, and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Perry was predeceased by his first wife Ruth, daughter Mary Ellen Barrio, and sisters Christine (Raye) Martin and Beatrice (Sherm) Richardson.

Prior to retirement, Perry was a fisherman, drove trucks, did electrical work and wrinkled well into his 80’s. He was a long-time member of the Sea View Full Gospel Church in Back Bay and loved nothing more than going to Church and serving the Lord. Perry and Lottie loved their camp in McDougall and went frequently up until 3 years ago. They also loved watching the Blue Jays.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to Fundy Nursing Home for the wonderful care and love shown to Perry.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. A service will be held at the Sea View Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Paul Legere and Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating, followed by the interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 pm until service time. In Perry’s memory, donations to Fundy Nursing Home or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
