Marina Muriel Bradford

1933-2025

The passing of Marina Muriel Bradford, wife of the late Harold “Haley” Lester Bradford formerly of Utopia NB occurred at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour NB on November 11, 2025. Born in Saint John NB on February 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late George and Geneva (Hawkins) Clarke.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Marina will be forever loved by her children: Harold “Ricky” Bradford (Darlene) of Utopia NB, Patricia “Pat” Hanselpacker (Robert) of Lake Utopia NB., Susan Bradford of Saint John NB, Frances “Frannie” Murray (Allen) of St. George NB and Geneva “Ginger” Dehkurdi (Matthew) of White Rock BC; her grandchildren: Darren, Jill, Jan, Alyson, David, Hannah, Jonathan, Ashley, Benjamin, Andrew and Shannon; 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-grandson; and many cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marina was predeceased by one brother, Richard Clarke.

Prior to retirement, Marina was employed at Connors Brothers in Blacks Harbour, Collingwood in Pennfield and the pulp and paper mill in Lake Utopia. She had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting, gardening and especially loved working in the woods with her son Ricky. She had a love for anything fashion and art and enjoyed collecting trinkets on her many travels. A strong Christian woman, Marina attended many churches over the years. Above all, she loved and was devoted to her family who will truly miss her but remember her always.    

The family would like to thank the staff of the Fundy Nursing Home who became Marina’s family over the last few years. Your love and devotion to our mom and grandmother never went unnoticed and we are thankful every day for the love and care she was given.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. In keeping with Marina’s wishes, all services held will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fundy Nursing Home in Marina’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
