1960-2026

The passing of Derek Delenor Wright occurred unexpectedly at his resident in St. George NB on February 4, 2026. Born in Toronto ON and August 5, 1960, he was a son of the late Conrad and Leslie (Gillmor) Wright.

Derek is survived his daughter Angela Grant (Howard), was a loving grandfather to Alexander Pearson (Chelsey) and was a great-grandfather to June Pearson. He will also be sadly missed by his siblings: Lori Leavitt, Marshella Deveau (Earl), Christopher Wright (Barbara) and Adam Wright (Stephany); and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Prior to retirement, Derek worked in construction all of his working life. In his free time, he enjoyed watching hockey and had a passion for old cars and motorcycles. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. There will be no visiting or funeral service held. In Derek’s memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
