The RCMP is investigating the death of a 57‑year‑old man in Shenstone as suspicious after officers found him dead inside a home on Route 910.
Members of the Caledonia Region detachment were called to the residence at about 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 for a report of a sudden death.
Police said the man’s body was located inside when officers arrived.
The Major Crime Unit has taken over the file and is treating the death as suspicious, according to the RCMP.
Police have not released information about what led investigators to that assessment.
