Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature fundraising campaign that takes place annually and has been around for more than 45 years! An exciting and fun event for teams of families, co-workers, and friends. We need people like YOU who believe in supporting programs that create strong developmental relationships for kids in our community! BBBS connects over 300 youth annually with carefully selected mentors and nurtures these friendships to ensure youth build social-emotional skills, improve mental health and well-being, and increase educational and community engagement! We’re bowling to support mentoring for young people in our service area which includes Saint John, Kings, and Charlotte Counties!

As a community, we are facing an elevated need for mentoring programs and positive relationships in kids’ lives to help build social emotional skills, improve mental health and well-being, and positively impact the school and community engagement of our young people! This event is a chance to help us continue to offer and build upon our existing programs and create new ways of connecting more youth in developmental relationships with mentors. It’s an opportunity for your company, team, or group to participate in a fun team-building activity for a good cause. It’s a great morale booster!

You can get together with friends, co-workers, or family and have a fun time bowling at Fairview Bowling Lanes, playing bocce ball in Chown Field, or host a modified bowling activity right in your workplace. We can provide the supplies, swag, and some prizes, and whatever else you might need.

All of the funds raised directly support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentoring programs in your community!

Teams consist of 4 to 6 friends, family members, or co-workers.
You can challenge another company, group or team to a bowl off or fundraising competition. Trivia and prizes for fundraising efforts.
Participants must raise a minimum of $100 to participate in this fun-d-raiser!
Raise funds through various options including team events, selling our raffle tickets and/or through our Event Fundraising Site.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

REGISTER your team and select your bowling or bocce ball day and time by completing this BFKS TEAM REGISTRATION FORM 2026 updated (or we can email you a copy of the form) and send it back to us, or you can register online using the form below.
CREATE YOUR ONLINE FUNDRAISING team and personal page on this platform and start connecting with your network of supporters to raise funds! It’s that easy! Of course, you can always host various activities and events to help with your fundraising and/or sell some of our Spring Raffle Tickets where all tickets sold go directly to your teams’ efforts if you prefer raising funds offline!
COME IN COSTUME (OPTIONAL) at your scheduled bowling day and time, pass in your funds raised, and have a great time bowling with your team!

Bowl for Kids’ Sake “Halloween Boo-ling” takes place to help “Strike Kids off the Waitlist”. Let’s “Give ’em pumpkin to talk about”…pick your potion, grab your bowling shoes, and let’s roll to support mentoring for kids! May 21 and 23 at Fairview Lanes, June 17 Bocce Ball in Chown Field, or pick your own day/time/activity and we’ll meet you there because “Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun”!

Thursday, May 21 from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm (90-minute shifts)

Saturday, May 23 from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm (90-minute shifts)

Wednesday, June 17 (rain date June 18) from 2pm to 6:30pm (90-minute shifts)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A fun-filled time with games, food, and prizes
A 90-minute session in the afternoon or evening dedicated to your choice of activity, i.e. bowling at Fairview Lanes, outdoor bocce ball, or in-office modified bowling fun
An easy-to-use fundraising page and raffle opportunity to help you raise funds
The chance to directly support kids in need
Minimum suggested fundraising goal: $100 per team member
