Maybe we’re not supposed to talk about our moms in Heaven. But I am. My mom was “old school”. She didn’t have a drivers license, but that didn’t hold her back. She never stopped. She imparted so much wisdom upon her four kids. Wisdom and “sayings” that I still carry with me. She made the best potato salad in the world ! We could stand side by side, same ingredients – hers was fabulous, mine pfft. She had the kindest heart and the most wicked sense of humor and laugh. Thank goodness I inherited the sense of humor part, not so much the cooking part. You knew when you got the “Patricia Ann” start of a sentence, you were about to be put in your place lol. I seriously know of nobody that disliked her. She was strong after dad died and taught me what strength looked like. I’m lucky to have had her. Happy Mothers Day to all moms out there.
