Wendy was born and grew up in Blacks Harbour. She moved to Winnipeg Manitoba where she met the love of her life Bill, who pre-deceased her two years prior. Upon her returning home with her beloved Bill, Wendy worked for area convenience stores where she welcomed everyone with that friendly face and large personality. At the time of her passing she had been a familiar and friendly face at Stewart’s Village Mart in Pennfield NB. Wendy was an avid outdoors person who especially enjoyed kayaking and swimming, preferably in a heated pool 84 degrees or higher. Wendy enjoyed sports, especially basketball. She was a big fan and could be seen cheering her favorite team, DUKE. Her larger-than-life personality will be sadly missed by her family, her faithful companion Rosie, her work family at Stewart’s Village Mart and all who knew her.
