Visitor Restrictions In Place At N.B. Hospitals

Visitor restrictions are in place at hospitals across New Brunswick due to the COVID-19 virus.

The Horizon Health Network says no visitors are allowed within its facilities until further notice.

Exceptions apply for the palliative care, intensive care, neonatal intensive care, obstetric and pediatric units.

In these units, one designated visitor is allowed, which could be a member of the patient’s immediate family or their care partner.

The Vitalite Health Network has also implemented a full visitor ban in all facilities.

The exception is the palliative care, obstetric and pediatric units, where one family member or care partner will be permitted.

Anyone who’s travelled outside of Canada is restricted from visiting patients for 14 days following their return.
