Bayview Credit Union says a staff member at its Sussex branch may have come into contact with someone potentially exposed to COVID-19.
In a statement Monday, the financial institution said the branch has been closed as a precaution to complete sanitizing and cleaning.
“In addition, our staff who were present are self-isolating for the recommended 14 days,” read the statement.
The company said the branch will re-open with staff from other locations once the sanitization is complete.
As of early Monday afternoon, New Brunswick had reported two confirmed and four probable cases of COVID-19.
A total of 196 tests had come back negative.
