Moncton woman’s death being investigated as homicide

The investigation into the death of a Moncton woman has now been ruled a homicide.

New Brunswick’s RCMP Major Crime Unit says the body of the 39-year-old woman was discovered in a garbage bin on High Street near a walking trail on February 15.

Police began investigating early Monday morning at a residence on Norwood Avenue in Moncton in connection with the woman’s death.

RCMP continue to ask anyone with information to contact the New Brunswick RCMP Major Crime Unit at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267).
