Water Cooler Talk (December 29 – January 4)

Here’s 5 interesting things you can talk about this week with your family, friends and co-workers!

1: Did you know that at height of 194 meters (637 feet) above sea level, the peak of Chamcook Mountain shows evidence of scoring by glaciers?

2: White-tailed deer are crepuscular, meaning they are most active around dawn and dusk.

3:  The word “gingerbread” comes from the Old French word “gigembras,” which means “gingered food.”

4: Mickey Mouse made his on-screen debut in “Steamboat Willie” in January of 1928!

5: You’ll produce enough saliva in your lifetime to fill two swimming pools; about a liter a day.
