Please be advised that the Village of McAdam is currently subject to a boil water advisory. Officials are working to resolve the issue. This boil water advisory does not impact residents whose water comes from wells.

Please take the following precautions:

  • Boil water used for drinking purposes, for at least 1 minute at a rolling boil, prior to use.
  • Boil water for activities where it may be ingested; Once boiled, the water should be left to cool in a safe place, away from children and pets, and then poured into clean, covered containers.
  • Do not drink from any public drinking fountains in the affected area;
  • People may use the water for washing and bathing;
  • Ensure that younger children and infants are sponge bathed.
