Two Men Arrested In Ongoing Drug Investigation

RCMP have arrested two people as a part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in eastern New Brunswick.

Officers pulled over a vehicle on Route 117 in Baie-Sainte-Anne last week and seized cocaine and money.

Fifty-three-year-old Urbain Mcintyre was arrested and is charged with drug trafficking.

Police searched a home in the same area later that day, where a gun, cocaine and cash were seized from the home.

A 59-year-old man was arrested and later released.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
