UPDATE: Two killed in Fredericton bridge crash

Fredericton Police have released more details about a fatal crash on the Princess Margaret Bridge.

On Friday, a transport truck and a passenger vehicle collided, and two people were killed, and a third suffered serious injuries.

A 41-year-old woman who was driving, along with a 23-year-old passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene.

A 24-year-old woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

The driver of the transport truck was also assessed at the hospital, but has since been released.

Police say no charges are expected at this time.
