Drug charges have been laid against a 38-year-old woman after a traffic stop in Saint John.
Police said they stopped a vehicle on Loch Lomond Road shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
They allege the driver was in possession of 16 grams of cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and $248 in cash.
The woman appeared in court on Thursday and was charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, and breaching a court order.
She was remanded into custody and is due back in court for a bail hearing on Monday.
