RCMP are investigating after a Rogers Communications fibre-optic line was damaged in Sussex.
Mounties say the incident happened on Maple Avenue between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Oct. 14.
“Police believe the individuals may have been trying to steal the copper wire,” RCMP said in a news release on Friday.
Investigators say the incident caused over $20,000 in damages and resulted in major service disruptions in the area.
