St. George Animal Shelter does incredible work

The St. George Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter run by a volunteer board of directors and founded by Dr. Melanie Eagan of the St. George Vet Clinic. The board of volunteers has pledged to help companion animals in need of a loving home.

Their goal is to build a shelter building where the animals can be safe and secure until they are either returned to an owner or adopted by a family. They strive for a comfortable, clean, cheery, and progressive environment for their temporary living spaces such as being able to provide play spaces, indoor/outdoor catios, and kennels.

Until their goal is achieved, the St. George Animal Shelter are relying on a network of foster homes to help these animals.

They also have adoptable cats at their location, 4 Pawprint Lane in St. George.

Are you willing to volunteer? They would love to hear from you.

The new shelter facility has been carefully designed to serve the needs of our organization for decades to come. With a focus on simplicity and efficiency, we have designed the building and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and efficient space for our staff as well as the animals in our care.

The footprint of the new building is about 2,000 square feet. This one storey building will be large enough to meet the needs of our shelter, without any excess that would increase the cost of the project.
