The Saint John Sea Dogs will put their five-game winning streak on the line Saturday afternoon when they host Cape Breton.
The Eagles were the first victim of the current streak on Oct. 2.
Cape Breton has lost three straight and have just two wins on the season.
Game time is 4 p.m. at TD Station.
The Sea Dogs also plan to turn the arena pink.
Saturday’s game is the team’s annual Fight Cancer game, raising awareness and funds in support of those affected by breast cancer.
The team will wear special pink-themed jerseys as they recognize survivors and honour those who have lost the fight.
The Sea Dogs are partnering with Breasts Ahoy, a Saint John-based dragon boat team made up of breast cancer survivors. The organization provides survivors with an opportunity to stay active, build lasting friendships and support one another while raising awareness about life after breast cancer.
Fans can make a difference just by showing up for the game. Every ticket purchased using the promo code PINK26 will see $5 donated directly to Breasts Ahoy.
Game-worn Sea Dogs Fight Cancer jerseys will be available through an in-game raffle and online auction. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Breasts Ahoy.
