School bus delays for February 11

It’s going to be a late start for many students in the Saint John and Charlotte counties.

Snow-covered roads forced a one-hour delay for many school buses for the Anglophone South School District. Others were cancelled due to limited snow removal and road closures.

Francophone South schools in Saint John and Quispamsis are also delayed by one hour.

Campobello Island Consolidated School is closed due to road conditions.

Snow has been steadily falling across the region overnight, leaving roads slippery. Snow removal teams are working to get the roads cleared, but they are limited in some areas.

According to today’s Environment Canada forecast for Saint John, between 10 and 15 centimetres is expected to have fallen by the time it wraps up later today.
