A Canadian Music Hall of Fame recipient has teamed up with a fellow hip hop artist for the TV show Amazing Race Canada.
Maestro Fresh Wes of Saint John, New Brunswick and freestyler Duane D.O. Gibson of Ontario are going up against nine other Canadian teams for Season 12.
According to a news release, Fresh Wes and Gibson, a two-time Guinness World Records holder, were united by a passion for inspiring others.
The news release adds that the pair bring a unique blend of talent, determination, and inspiration to every challenge they take on.
The race begins at Whistler Mountain in British Columbia as the world-renowned destination celebrates its 60th anniversary. The winners receive OneKeyCash™ from Expedia to plan a trip around the world, worth $250,000.
Amazing Race Canada premieres on July 7 at 10 p.m. Atlantic time.
