Good news for residents on the municipal water system in Saint Andrews.
A town-wide boil water advisory issued earlier in the week has been lifted.
Mayor Brad Henderson said a third test submitted on Friday morning was successful.
The advisory was issued after a planned refurbishment of the town’s water treatment plant on Tuesday night.
Before the work even started, town officials said it was likely that a boil water advisory would be needed.
