Students at a Charlotte County school are heading home early on Monday due to a power outage.
The closure of Grand Manan Community School was announced around 10:45 a.m. Monday.
NB Power is reporting nearly 2,400 customers without electricity in the Charlotte Southwest region.
That includes around 1,160 homes and businesses on Grand Manan Island.
All power should be restored by 1 p.m. Monday, according to NB Power.
