Police Seek Info In Dog Killing

Sussex RCMP are looking for the public’s help after a dog was shot and killed in Waterford earlier this month.

Police say sometime on the evening of August 1, a white and brown border collie was shot on McFarlane Road and later died from its injuries.

The RCMP is working with the SPCA on the investigation, and say a necropsy will be conducted.

A release issued by the RCMP asks for anyone that witnessed suspicious behaviour or overheard gunshots on that evening to contact Sussex RCMP at 506-433-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
