Power has been returned to most customers in the Charlotte Southwest region.
An unplanned power outage began on Sunday morning, affecting over 800 people in the region.
The outages affected people in the Burnt Hill, Mohannes, St Stephen, Upper Mills, Digdeguash and Saint Andrews areas, according to the NB Power outages map.
A listener informed our newsroom of the outages around 10:45 a.m.
Sheila Lagacé, a spokesperson for NB Power, says the outages were likely “weather-related” with heavy downpours in the region.
According to Lagacé, crews working to fix the issue reported trees resting on powerlines.
