Online Fundraiser For Injured Saint John Woman

An online fundraiser has been launched for a Saint John woman whose family says was beaten and left for dead.

Tammy Marr was found unconscious on the side of Loch Lomond Road on the city’s east side just before 3 a.m. on Feb. 8, according to her sister, Mary.

In a Facebook post, Mary Marr said her sister was last seen at the Grove Lounge on Westmorland Road around 90 minutes earlier.

Her purse, according to Marr, was later found by the McAllister Place Mall with everything intact.

Police have only said they are investigating an incident which happened on the east side over the weekend.

A GoFundMe page is raising money to help with Marr’s recovery.
