1950 – 2026
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marsha Jean McCray announce her unexpected passing at home, Upper Mills, N.B. on Monday, April 6, 2026. Wife of Emmett McCray.
Marsha was the daughter of the late Arnel and Helen Levy of Wolfville, NS. She was born in Wolfville NS, and lived in St. Stephen, NB for most of her adult life.
Marsha grew up on a dairy farm and knew the value of hard work from a very young age. She was known for helping anyone in need and doing her very best to care for her loved ones. She was truly the glue that held her family together. She loved to knit, garden and was the best bread baker around. Marsha was a registered nurse and worked alongside Dr. Allan Maloney for many years until her retirement. After retirement, she loved to volunteer, especially for the Upper Mills Church where she attended regularly, and you could often find her baking or knitting for special events at the church. She was a very hard worker whose main goal was always to take good care of her husband, kids and folks around her neighborhood, even if that meant she had to go without. As much as we will miss her, she had abiding faith, and we know she’s reunited with her loved ones who passed before her.
Aside from her husband, Marsha is survived by her children: Kirby Lusk (Kelly), daughter-in-law Tracey Lusk, Amber Reynolds (Shane), Simona Lusk, grandchildren:, Kody (Taylor), Kolby, Jordyn, Ryder, Jade (Simon), Jerika and Shyla (Keaton), great-grandchildren: Harper, Quinn, Lacey and Luke, sisters Theresa Feltmate (Donnie), SueAnne Russell (Paul), Cheryl Rector, brother: Carl Levy (Debbie), step daughter: Mandy McCray (Matt) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Marsha was predeceased by her sons Jason Lusk & infant son Kirk Lusk, grandson Khanrad Lusk, brothers Barry and Stephen Levy, brother-in-law Mark Rector.
