Murder charges laid in Moncton woman’s death

Charges have now been laid in connection with the death of a Moncton woman.

A 35-year-old Moncton man appeared in provincial court on Thursday morning and was charged with first-degree murder.

The body of 39-year-old Melissa Price was found in a garbage bin on High Street on February 15.

Following the discovery, police operations were conducted surrounding an apartment on Norwood Street.

RCMP have not yet revealed how she died.

The accused remains behind bars with another court date set for April 2.
