Man Arrested In St. Stephen Theft Investigation

Police say a 38-year-old St. Stephen man has been arrested following a theft investigation in the town.

Mounties say they received a report of a stolen television from a King Street business on Jan. 16.

Officers identified a suspect from surveillance video and arrested a man walking along King Street on Tuesday evening.

During the search, police say they seized a quantity of what is believed to be crystal meth, dilaudid, heroin and other prescription drugs, along with a cell phone.

The man is due in Saint John provincial court at a later date to face charges.
