Live Moncton peregrine falcon cam attracts thousands

Peregrine Falcon watch continues in 2026.

The Magnetic Hill Zoo began its live streams in March, as the falcons arrived.

They say the first egg was laid in April, and three more followed.

The Zoo adds four hungry chicks hatched over the May long weekend.

Local bird enthusiasts installed the nest box in 2011 on top of the Assomption Place building in Moncton, New Brunswick.

A camera was also installed to allow the public the opportunity to see the chicks as they grow.

According to the Zoo’s peregrine falcon nest cam website, the chicks will learn to fly and then leave the nest around 35 to 42 days after hatching.

In March each year, the peregrine falcons return to the nest, and the process begins over again.
