Another hit for fuel as a result of the interrupter clause.
It was invoked overnight by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
Diesel is up eight cents a litre this morning to a maximum of around $2.28 cents.
Furnace oil also rose by 7.9 cents a litre and is now at a maximum of around $2.21.
Regular fuel prices stayed the same.
The interrupter clause was implemented on Wednesday as well, with diesel rising over 11 cents.
The Board will make its usual weekly price adjustments overnight on Thursday.
