Today, March 8th, is International Women’s Day, a day recognized around the world to celebrate the achievements of women and to reflect on the ongoing journey toward equality.
The day dates back more than a century and was inspired by women advocating for better working conditions, voting rights, and equal opportunities. In fact, the idea for an international day recognizing women was proposed in 1910 by activist Clara Zetkin, and today it’s officially recognized by the United Nations.
It’s a chance to recognize the women who make a difference every day — in our communities, our workplaces, and our families. From leaders and innovators to the moms, grandmothers, teachers, and friends who shape our lives, today is about celebrating their impact.
So today, take a moment to say thank you and recognize the incredible women who help make our world a better place.
