Gas Prices Down, Diesel Up In N.B.

Some drivers in New Brunswick are getting a break at the fuel pumps on Thursday.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve is $1.005 per litre.

That is a drop of 1.2 cents after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Diesel climbed by two-tenths of a cent to a new maximum of $1.095 per litre.

Most stations in the region are selling gas and diesel for a few cents less.

Furnace oil prices held steady at a maximum of 93.3 cents per litre.

The price for propane climbed by one cent to a new maximum of 97.3 cents per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
