Up. Down. Up again. Down again.
New Brunswickers could be forgiven for getting a little neck strain after watching gas prices go up and down several times a week.
And we have another down on the horizon.
An industry source is reporting the interrupter clause will be used by the Energy and Utilities Board Saturday night, and it’ll bring the maximum price of regular self-serve gas down 6.9 cents per litre.
That would lower the maximum price to just under $1.84, about where it stood a week ago.
Diesel is also expected to see a dramatic drop, more than 10 cents a litre.
That would lower the maximum price for diesel to about $2.15 per litre.
It’ll be the third price change in three days in the province.
The EUB normally adjusts the price of fuel, furnace oil and propane at 12:01 a.m. on Fridays.
