Four Arrests, Weapons Seized In Public Landing

Members of the Saint John Police Force, Kennebecasis Regional Police Force with support from members of the Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP seized several weapons along with ammunition, drugs and cash after a search on Tuesday.

The items were discovered in the search at a home on Route 102 in Public Landing, N.B.

Four people were arrested and charged with firearms and drug-related offences.

All four were held in custody for court appearances scheduled to take place on Thursday.

The following items were seized by police:

• One sawed-off shotgun
• Four rifles
• One handgun
• Three .177 calibre pellet handguns
• Scope and suppressor
• 56 grams of substances believed to be methamphetamines
• A large quantity of ammunition
• Score sheets, packaging material, scales, and drug paraphernalia
• Body amour carriers
• $2660.00 Canadian currency
• Illegal cigarettes
