Saint John firefighters now have a new piece of equipment to help them with ice rescues.
The fire department recently acquired an inflatable boat called a Rapid Deployment Craft.
The city says it’s a “critical piece of equipment” for the department to have on hand, especially with so many waterways in the area.
Firefighters will be training at The Range at Rockwood over the next few weeks.
