SSMS Drama Club presents Social Media VS Humanity on Tuesday, April 28^th at 6pm at the SSMS auditorium.

In Social Media v. Humanity, the courtroom becomes a battleground for the soul of the digital age. When social media is put on trial for crimes against connection, truth, and empathy, a colorful parade of influencers, tech execs, trolls, truthers, and nostalgic mascots take the stand. Presided over by no-nonsense Judge Rowena March and fueled by the sass of Bailiff Jeanine, this fast-paced satire throws today’s online culture under a magnifying glass—where every like, post, and swipe is fair game. From “content is cardio” gym-fluencers to conspiracy-loving moms who think Finland is fake, the characters speak in memes, TED talks, and hashtags—but their stakes couldn’t be more real.

Part courtroom comedy, part social commentary, and all chaos, Social Media v. Humanity asks a provocative question: if we could hit “delete” on the entire online world… would we? Should we?
