The death toll from the COVID-19 virus in Canada has jumped to 55.
Sixteen additional deaths were reported on Friday, including 10 in Quebec.
The number of confirmed or probable cases also climbed to more than 4,700.
More than 2,000 of those cases are in Quebec and nearly 1,000 are in Ontario.
Nova Scotia is reporting 90 cases while New Brunswick has 45.
Health officials report more than 300 people across Canada have recovered to date.
