Environment Canada says Monday morning’s cool weather broke some daily temperature records.
Grand Manan hit a low of -4.2C, breaking the old record of -2.4C set on that day in 2014.
The low reached -4.6C in Saint John and St. Stephen, which tied the record set in 1996.
