Cancellations – Covid-19 (updated March 19, 2020)

As of Friday, March 20th, St. Stephen Canadian Tire will be on adjusted emergency essentials hours of 8am to 6pm maximum each day. Canadian Tire is open for business with lots of extra cleaning and sanitizing happening throughout the day.

As of March 18th, access to Dr. Acheson’s office is restricted to staff only. Dr. Acheson’s office is not closing and will be offering appointments by telephone. Patients with booked appointments will be contacted.

Bingo at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #9 is cancelled till further notice.

All public schools in New Brunswick are closed for two weeks, starting on Monday, March 16.

The University of New Brunswick is suspending all in-person classes for the rest of the academic year starting at 8 a.m. on March 14. Classes will resume using alternate methods on March 23. Both campuses, as well as residences, will remain open.

NBCC is also suspending in-person classes for the week of March 16 to 20, including apprenticeship and offsite training.

McAllister Place in Saint John is reducing its hours to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Starting on Monday, March 16, the mall will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. until further notice.

The Saint John Home Show, scheduled for March 13 to 15, is cancelled.

The 2020 Canadian Masters Curling Championships, scheduled to take place at the Riverside and Thistle St. Andrews Curling Clubs from March 28 to April 5, has been cancelled

The Court of Queen’s Bench has adjourned all scheduled jury trials until May 12.
