Former Ontario premier Bob Rae has some new duties.
Rae been appointed Canada’s Ambassador to the United Nations.
He recently served as a Special Envoy on Humanitarian and Refugee Issues which worked closely with the UN and international community.
Rae was Ontario’s premier in the 1990s and the federal Liberal party’s interim leader from 2011 to 2013.
