Premier provides update on St. Stephen clinic

Work is on track for a new space for St. Stephen’s collaborative care clinic to open in January.

Premier Susan Holt said renovations on the clinic’s new space remain on track for a January opening.

“That’s something we do check in on every two weeks because we know the progress of renovations can go and then they stall and they can go and they can stall,” the premier said.

But Holt added despite delays, work on building up the operation continues.

“We have added new practitioners,” she said. “We are attaching new patients now because that collaborative clinic team is still operating even though the new space isn’t ready and they are taking people off the list.”
