The Saint John Sea Dogs are finalizing their roster for the upcoming season.
The latest addition is defenceman Brandon Delarosbil.
Saint John acquired the 18-year-old from Sherbrooke for defenceman Vincent Croteau, a first-round pick in 2027 and a second-round pick in 2028.
Sea Dogs president and general manager Trevor Georgie said Delarosbil is a player the team has wanted for a while.
“He has offensive tools and instincts, and he competes,” Georgie said in a release.
“He fits with our age group and will grow with our core over the next two seasons.
Delarosbil had 22 points for the Phoenix last season.
He’s committed to play NCAA Division I hockey at the University of Nebraska at Omaha after he finishes his junior career.
