Big jumps for fuel on Friday morning.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments overnight, and it’s hitting some motorists in the wallet.
The maximum cost for regular self-serve is up 6.3 cents a litre to around $1.93.
Diesel and furnace oil prices jumped around 10.3 cents.
Diesel is now at a maximum of $2.40, while furnace oil is at $2.32.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board makes its regular weekly price adjustments every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
In Nova Scotia, regular self‑serve currently ranges from about $1.92 to $1.97 per litre, while diesel’s maximum is between about $2.33 and $2.37 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the maximum price for regular self‑serve is about $2.02 per litre, diesel is at $2.44 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of about $1.79 per litre.
